Question 1: What were the kite runners doing?
Answer: The kite runners were racing after sliced kites in large numbers. Those who caught the kites triumphantly returning, holding their captured kites high.

Answer: By three o’clock in the afternoon, Amir felt very tired. His legs ached and the neck was stiff.
