You can perform the following tasks using the internet:
Talk to our friends through email or instant messaging, shopping, book movie tickets, read and research about any topic, play online games, create comic strips, etc.
Question 4: What is a web browser? How do you view information on the internet using a browser?
Answer: A web browser is software used to display information that is stored on a web page or website. Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Apple Safari, Opera are few web browsers that can be used to view information.
Follow the given steps to view information on the internet using a browser.
Step 1: Double-click on the web browser icon to open it.
Step 2: Type the address of the required website in the address bar and the press the ‘Enter key’ on the keyboard.

Question 5: Write the steps to save the address of the web page.
Answer: You can perform the following steps to save the address of a web page in Google Chrome:
Step 1: Click on the ‘three dots’ option at the right-hand side corner of the browser and select the ‘Bookmarks’ option.
Step 2: Select the ‘Bookmark this page’ option.
Step 3: A box will appear. Click on the ‘Done’ button to add the address of the current web page to the list of bookmarks.
You can open a bookmarked web page by selecting it from the list of bookmarks.
