Answer: Charlie and Zeke had a loving and playful relationship. After Charlie had his bath, Zeke would allow him to snuggle with him. Charlie would then sleep between Zeke’s paws. Charlie would sometimes call out to Zeke, imitating the author’s voice and when Zeke came running in expectation, Charlie would give his loud belly laugh. Charlie would also tease Zeke by pretending as if he was taking a pebble from Zeke’s precious collection.
