Answer: Both the birds were different in their behaviours because one is known by the company one keeps. First bird had always heard the talk of robbers. He imitated them and talked about robbing people. Second bird repeated what he had always heard. He welcomed people to the ashram. He welcomed all and spoke politely. They talked as they hear. They both were different because of the different effects of their company.
