Answer: The poet has started and ended the poem by repeating the same word ‘gold’. He has done this to set a rhythm and emphasize the fact that gold holds a lot of value for most people in the world.

Answer: Yes, I think the old people value gold very much. This is because they are aware of its value and usefulness. They think it as an asset and keep it safe till their times of death.
