Question 2: What did the caterpillar eat?
Answer: The caterpillar ate the cabbages.
Question 3: How did the caterpillar spend its time?
Answer: The caterpillar spent its time drowsing lazily in the sunshine underneath the cabbages. It just kept on thinking this and that. Whenever it was hungry, it nibbled on the cabbages.
Question 4: Why was the caterpillar busy?
Answer: The caterpillar’s life was about to change. So, it was busy ¡n weaving a cocoon ¡n which it would stay cosily for a few days.
Question 5: Where did the butterfly come from?
Answer: The butterfly came from the cocoon made by the caterpillar. After eating its fill of cabbage, the caterpillar weaves a tight cocoon. It stays in this cocoon for a few days and nights and then suddenly the cocoon splits open and the butterfly appears.
Question 6: How was the butterfly different from caterpillar?
Answer: The butterfly had wings which allowed it to move around while the caterpillar crawled around the cabbages. Unlike the caterpillar which was lazy and spent its time eating and lazing, the butterfly spent its time dancing on the roses and flitting in the sunshine.
