Question 2: Why did the washerman go to the riverside?
Answer: Everyday, the washerman went to the riverside with a bundle of dirty linen to wash.
Question 3: How did the donkey help the washerman?
Answer: The donkey carried the bundle of dirty linen on its back to the river and carried the washed clothes back home. This way it helped the washerman.
Question 4: What did the dog do?
Answer: The dog’s duty was to protect the house. The dog did not allow anybody to enter the master’s house without permission.
Question 5: What did the donkey do when it saw the thief?
Answer: When the donkey saw the thief, it stopped the dog from barking and itself started braying.
Question 6: Why did the master get angry?
Answer: The master was tired after day’s hard work and wanted to sleep. But the loud sound of the donkey disturbed his sleep. So, the master got angry.
