Answer: Mount Everest is the highest peak of the Himalayas. It is also the highest peak in the world. It is 8,848 metres above the sea level. It is in Nepal. Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hillary were the first men to successfully scale this peak. They reached there on 29th May, 1953.

Answer: The Himalayan rivers continued flowing throughout the year because they are snow covered throughout the year.

Answer: Two of the advantages of the Himalayas are
