Answer: It is true that all the three princes were right in their own way as they all saw the same tree but in different forms. The first one found the tree to be dry and bare. The second prince found it to be lush and green while the third prince found the tree to be beautiful as it was full of red buds for which it was famous. All three of them were talking about the same tree but they overlooked one important truth that all three of them went to see the tree at different times of the year. So, the same tree looked different to all three of them as it looked different in the summer, rainy and spring season. So, the three princes were right in their own way, but it was not the entire truth.

But it is the charioteer who explains the king that they all saw the same tree but at different times of the year and therefore, found the same tree to be different. The first prince saw the tree during the summer season. The second prince went to see the tree during the rainy season while the third prince saw the tree during the spring season.
