Answer: The story happened at the edge of a lake.

Who was in the story? Who was the star of the story?
Answer: There were a duck, ten ducklings, some animals and swans. The ugly duckling was the star of the story.
(c) Problem
What was wrong?
Answer: No one wanted to make friends with the ugly duckling because he looked different from others.
(d) Solution
How were things made right in the end?
Answer: The ugly duckling finally grew up to be a beautiful white swan.
Question 2: Read these lines and answer the questions that follow:
The next day, Mother Duck took all her little ducklings to the lake.

Answer: There were ten ducklings.

Answer: The ducklings were one day old.
