2. He got his own piece of land to farm eight years ago.
Correct Sentence: He got his own piece of land to farm six years ago.
3. The fields were green and well cared for.
Correct Sentence: The fields were brown, the soil hardened, crusted and cracked and uncared for.
4. The people at the weather office in the city knew when it was going to rain.
Correct Sentence: The people at the weather office could not really tell him when the rains would come.
5. An old man was sheltering from the sun in the shade of a large tree.
Correct Sentence: An old woman was sheltering from the sun in the shade of a large tree.
6. After talking to the old woman, Velu got up and walked back to the weather office.
Correct Sentence: After talking to the old woman, Velu got up and walked home.
Question 2: Velu looked at the sky. There was not a cloud.
