Answer: Yes, the King was disturbed by the queen’s threat to leave the kingdom because after listening to her, he went out of his mind and could not decide what to do. That is why, he asked the vazir to solve the matter in a week’s time else he will be killed.

Answer: Bhaskar called Amir a strange man because he spoke in a strange manner. When Bhaskar invited him home, Amir asked if the beams of Bhaskar’s house were strong enough.

On the other hand, the king was quite generous because he rewarded the Vazir with lands, gold, and jewels once the matter was resolved.

Answer: Amir was intelligent because he was quick to understand the hidden message that Shivani had sent him. He was clever enough to take her help in solving the problem his father faced. In this way, he saved his father’s life.
