Answer: The ship was ‘A-sailing on the sea’.

Answer: The ship was carrying raisins and almonds.

Answer: The ship has been referred to as ‘fairy ship’. The description that the sails were made of satin and the mast was of gold make the ship seem magical. It also appears magical as the sailors were white mice with a duck as the captain.

Answer: The most expensive was the mast which was made of gold.

Answer: The raisins are stored in the cabin instead of the cargo hold.
(b) What is a cabin usually used for?
Answer: A cabin is a private room or area in a ship where the sailors stay.
(c) Where would you expect the cargo to be stowed?
Answer: The cargo is supposed to be stowed in the cargo hold.
2. The captain he said, Quack!
(a) Who is captain?
Answer: The duck is the captain.
(b) What is the captain wearing?
Answer: The captain is wearing a jacket.
(c) In your opinion, what could he mean when he says, Quack!
Answer: I think when the captain said ‘Quack’, he ordered the ship to set sail.
